Local Collaborative Non-Profit OneMC Unveils Five-Year Strategic Plan
Marshall County, IN –
One Marshall County, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing community and economic development across Marshall County, announces the release of its inaugural five-year strategic plan designed to foster sustainable growth, strengthen local businesses, and create new opportunities for residents throughout the county.
Over the past year, One Marshall County engaged with volunteer committees, which provided input and connections to studies, data, and upcoming funding opportunities to inform our priorities and ensure a broad range of perspectives across the county. Developed with input from local stakeholders, including business owners, community leaders, and government partners, the strategic plan lays out a roadmap to enhance workforce development, support entrepreneurship, expand infrastructure, and attract strategic investment to the region. The plan reflects One Marshall County’s commitment to inclusive economic prosperity and positions the organization to catalyze collaborative efforts county-wide.

Key focus areas of the plan include:
- Improving the housing ladder by expanding housing stock, development sites, and opportunity
- Establishing Marshall County as a leader in regional arts & culture planning efforts and identifying and supporting key arts projects
- Strengthening and developing entrepreneurial endeavors through support for small businesses

About One Marshall County
One Marshall County is the new iteration of the Marshall County Crossroads Regional Planning Team, a volunteer-led group that helped secure a $14 million award from the Stellar Pathways Program, “a multi-agency, multi-million-dollar investment initiative led by the Office of Community and Rural Affairs.” With these funds and matching investments, One Marshall County supported projects that expanded public parks and amenities, activated unused spaces, and improved local infrastructure throughout all six municipalities in Marshall County.
